Upon your first visit to ABBA Dental, we will perform a comprehensive examination, which will include X-rays. This examination will help our Dentist to determine the health of your teeth and mouth.

Besides an examination, our dentists will review your medical history to make sure that our treatments are catered to your individual needs. To obtain some of your medical information, we will ask for you to complete new patient forms, which will inform us of any recent surgeries, illnesses or hospitalizations. And for safety, we will ask about any prescriptions and medications you are currently taking and also if you suffer from any allergies.

Our scheduled appointments normally will not require a major time commitment, as they typically last around one hour.

After the conclusion of your first visit, we do recommend scheduling regular checkups in order to stay on top of any problems that might arise, including oral health problems and signs of decay. These regular appointments are encouraged for all individuals four years or older.

When you stop by ABBA Dental for your regular visits, you can expect to receive a thorough examination and cleaning. Our Dentist can talk to you about any problems that you have noticed, including chips in your teeth, teeth grinding and painful chewing.

If you are interested in learning more, or if you would like to schedule your first visit to ABBA Dental, please feel free to contact us. We would love to answer all of your questions.

Depending on the treatment required, your appointment may vary in cost. Before your appointment begins, we would be glad to discuss the cost and any payment options that may be available.

At ABBA Dental, we do provide a number of payment options for your convenience. We accept most major credit cards, cash, cheques and debit payments. We also provide payment plan options through our financing partners.

Your Dental Insurance may cover all or some of the treatment costs, but please be mindful that you, as the patient, are responsible for any payments that your insurance does not cover.

At ABBA Dental, we accept most insurance carriers.

Our office can submit payment requests directly to your insurance provider, which eliminates the hassle of you having to submit these requests yourself.

Please remember to provide us with your most updated insurance information and let us know if your plan undergoes any changes that may affect your coverage.

(Note that composite (white) fillings on molars are sometimes not covered under insurance plans, while amalgam (silver) fillings are typically covered. The cost difference between these two types of fillings can vary from $40 to $160 per tooth.)
